Educational Receivables, it’s all we do!
We specialize in the educational receivables industry, and our focus is unwavering. Coast Professional, Inc. (Coast) is committed to providing clients with professional representation dedicated to a tailored and sophisticated student loan collection program that surpasses our client’s requirements.
Knowledge Gained Through Experience
Our staff mirrors our name, Professional. Coast’s management team has over one hundred and forty (140) years of combined experience in the educational receivable industry. Our administrative staff has over seventy five (75) years of experience and professional expertise in the educational receivable industry. In addition, our veteran staff of licensed certified collectors is trained, mentored, and tested in Federal Perkins/NDSL Loans, institutional accounts, tuition accounts, and university receivables.
Compliance is Key
If your institution collects on Title IV debt, federal regulations require all Third Parties involved in the collection process to conduct an annual Third Party Compliance Audit, at their expense, by a licensed, qualified, CPA firm. A Third Party includes, but is not limited to the following: Collection Agencies, Companies offering Billing Services, Skip-tracing Agencies and Law Firms. Coast has received an unprecedented “No Findings” in its last 7 years of compliance auditing.
Real Time Access to Accounts
Client access is in real-time. Clients may view their placed accounts for payment activity, account history, and representative notes. Clients may also run real-time reports and check up-to-the-moment statistics, all while on a secured network connection. In order to ensure a protected connection into our data base, we maintain multiple layers of security including firewalls, restricted IP protocols, specific client user IDs, and passwords that are regularly updated and monitored.
State-of-the-Art Technology
Coast utilizes state-of-the-art technologies from our automatic telephone dialers to our ACH processing center, all of which facilitate our ability in offering outstanding service and efficient recovery of debt collections centered on Perkins/NDSL, health professional, institutional, and tuition receivables.
Dedicated to integrity
Because collection of defaulted educational receivables requires a unique approach, we realize our clients are concerned with the recovery of delinquent debts as well as the care their alumni receive. While Coast collectors use their best efforts to effectively collect all accounts referred by the client, collectors will not, under any circumstances, use threats, intimidation, harassment, or violate any Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines.
